at Stone House Farm
Stone House Farm & Inn, located in Green Park, Perry County, is an educational farm that will serve transitional students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a Community Participation Supports Program called Hempfield HUBS and is a site where regular education students have the opportunity to develop career awareness, employability skills, and trade experiences. The unique structure of Stone House Farm & Inn provides the opportunity of integrating all populations, specifically allowing for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to participate in the pre-vocational program with peers and create interesting and educational learning experiences that can be applicable to their future employment. This program was developed with Newport, West Perry, Greenwood and Susquenita School Districts.
This project is possible from the Arts for All, an initiative of the Greater Harrisburg Community Foundation, a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities.
We are accepting referrals for participants in our
